What is VR Panoramic Imaging?

‘VR’ stands for Virtual Reality and the panorama is viewed interactively By dragging your mouse in any direction across the interior surface of a ‘globe’ where you, the viewer, are essentially in the middle. Viewers can also zoom in or out as necessary – but this can cause distortion in the image at the extremes.

The result is a highly impressive and informative seamless 360’ interactive experience of an indoor or outdoor scene. VR Panoramas are best viewed at full screen

Virtual Tours are the bicycle. VR Panoramas are the Mercedes. HT Photographics does offer ‘Bicycle tours’ at less expense – but highly recommends the better product for the most impact.

How much does it cost?

Cost is industry-specific and depends upon the licensed use agreement. Pricing can be on a day-rate basis (around $1,500), plus expenses, or on a per-panorama basis $250 - $450. Extra Photoshop editing is $65 per hour. ‘Ordinary’ virtual tours are offered at competitive rates.
